A city in garnet

Montréal doesn't sit still long enough for one language or one century. We built the line around a deep garnet red, pulled straight from the old brick of the Vieux-Port — the same warm red that shows up in Québec's own flag-adjacent palette, worn here instead of printed on a postcard.

The typographic mark keeps the accent — Montréal, not Montreal — set in a serif with just enough weight to hold its own next to the city's bilingual signage. No fleur-de-lis shorthand, no skyline cliché: just the name, in a red that means something to anyone who's lived through a winter here.

It's a small line built for layering: a tee to start, then the pieces that go under a coat from October to April.
